The New York Yankee organization has been ridiculed from all aspects this season, but nevertheless, are in first place. From the new stadium to the over-abundance of money spent on prospects this past off-season, this ballclub really had all eyes on them. It was a rough start for the Yanks; New York City critics were all over them and especially the newly acquired ace, CC Sabathia. However, like Sabathia, the Yanks couldn’t be contained as they have won 14 or their last 18 games and set a major league record last night by going 18 consecutive games without an error.
