    Driving in Jamaica

Driving in Jamaica is a post from: Jamaica Vacations I have written about the hassle it was to get my Jamaican drivers license and for those of you who have actually gone on tour with me you have been told my opinions on driving a car in Jamaica but I thought I would put together some information for those interested in driving in Jamaica who are not familiar with what it is like to drive a car on the left side in such a dangerous country. I get lots of questions about renting a car in Jamaica and my advice on driving yourself around on vacation and my first reaction is almost always to warn persons against doing so unless they have already driven on the left side and they have already been to Jamaica before.

Southwest displeased with WestJet – Delta discussions

After having more than a year of discussions with WestJet about code-sharing for flights from the United States to Canada, Southwest is openly displeased at the news of WestJet’s similar conversations with Delta Air Lines , the world’s biggest carrier. The negotiation would allow Southwest to sell seats to Canada on WestJet planes, which is cheaper than Southwest having to create an entire fleet on its own.

Tours to Floyds Pelican Bar in Parottee Bay Jamaica

Tours to Floyds Pelican Bar in Parottee Bay Jamaica is a post from: Jamaica Vacations Floyds Pelican Bar in Jamaica is one of the most unique places to visit that you may ever have the pleasure to experience. The bar and restaurant are located about a mile offshore on a sand bar located in Parottee Bay on the South Coast of Jamaica inbetween Black River and Treasure Beach and it is by far the coolest place I have ever drank a Red Stripe beer. Pelican Bar is a well weathered but remarkably stable thatch hut built in the middle of the Caribbean Sea from driftwood, palm fronds and coconut tree trunks driven down into the sand like stilts on the edge of a small reef offering some of the best snorkeling, freshest seafood and homestyle Jamaican cooking on the island.

TSA: Could smart phones help cut airport lines?

Soon, your smart phone or PDA could help minimize your wait time at the airport. The Transportation Security Administration is working towards a program that links cell phones to detectors so that it can measure how long it takes to go through security checkpoints. Once the TSA obtains the information for how long each passenger is waiting at airports across the country, it would broadcast the wait-times on its web site so travelers can see and plan accordingly.

Mountain and Road Cycling Group in Jamaica

Mountain and Road Cycling Group in Jamaica is a post from: Jamaica Vacations I cam across the BikeNutz grooup for Jamaican cyclists through my connection with the organizers of the Jamaica Fat Tire Festival and I receive a daily email in regards to cycling all over the island that has become a valuable resource to me as an avid cyclist. Mountain biking in Jamaica is spectacular and the number of trails, undeveloped roads and off road riding adventures is amazing. I’ve put a lot of miles on the two mountain bikes I brought to Jamaica and nuff of that was on the hard track trails above Negril in places like Red Ground where the single track runs through a rural community and the simple lifestyles and beautiful scenery are breathtaking to say the least

    The Truth About College Plagiarism

Despite all the concern over increased plagiarism in the Internet age, concrete figures on the trend are hard to come by.
