16th day Sakua Kinabatangan RiverOn the bus journey in the morning we drove right by Mt Kinabalu which stands over 4000metres high it’s quite an impressive lump of rock Shortly after passing Mt Kinabalu the lanscape changed from nice dense forest to mile after mile of palm oil plantations. Palm oil is used in shampoo products foods biofuel and lots more things I can’t think of right now.

Glacier National Park Day Three Swimming With the Fishes
Hello writing this after another evening meal although not at a pub although we wished we had been to the pub.. we went tonight to a restaurant called Davis’s and never again even if we lived here yes we’re a bit fussy in our old age re food but chili in fish cake John wasn’t happy either with his Irish Stew which was no more than a soup so heading back to the pubs in future while in Ireland.
